In the aftermath of the conflict, Ibn al-Zubayr demolished and rebuilt the Kaaba, which had fallen into disrepair once more. The repairs made under Marwan restored it to its former state, with subsequent restorations during the periods of Ahma and Murad maintaining the structure's integrity. Its exterior features 9 carvings, 1 relief Verse, inlaid gold, carved wooden chests, metal Zamzam's test and burned incense in a historic quarry.
