The house is built of two types of wood, fir and cedar. The façade and the interior design are adorned with decorative elements. The house has two large chimneys located in rectangular stone compartments. The building was erected before the Administrative Committee for the village council had been created; later, a stable for a special purpose, an office room and even a hostel were attached to it.
