3D Honeycomb Infill concept
myminifactory
We took it upon ourselves to push beyond current infill patterns and create our own, realizing that a hexagonal structure is the most efficient way to use material when building a lattice of cells within a given volume. We drew inspiration from bee's nests, where two opposing honeycomb layers intersect in a seamless manner. This concept model is purely theoretical and not intended for practical application; it exists solely as a visual aid. I've also included an STL file for a single comb cell so you can see exactly what was removed during the design process.
