3D Hologram Frame

3D Hologram Frame

There are numerous YouTube videos showcasing how to bring 3D holograms into view using a smartphone or tablet, combined with a precision-cut pyramid made from four pieces of carefully measured plastic that are glued together. I opted to design and 3D print a custom frame to simplify this process. Due to the unique angles involved, some minor blobs may form on certain areas of the structure, but these can be easily trimmed away with a scalpel. You have the flexibility to use any type of transparent plastic for this project, and some YouTube tutorials even suggest repurposing old CD cases or the transparent plastic found in candy boxes. I chose to utilize the plastic from my Surface Pro keyboard box. For convenience, I've included both a PowerPoint slide and a .jpg file that can be used as templates to cut out the necessary plastic pieces. To gain inspiration for your project, simply search YouTube for impressive 3D hologram videos. You'll also find tutorials on creating your own 3D hologram footage.
