3D Glasses Frames
prusaprinters
These are Frames for 3D Movie Glasses, they are designed to fit on most nose (tested with 3 people) and to be slightly comfortable. I designed these so I can make 2D Glasses for 3D films however they will work as regular 3D Glasses. What you will need to Complete this project: 1 Set of 3D Glasses (2 if you want 2D Glasses) Knife/Pliers so you can remove the lenses of the 3D Glasses Hot/Super Glue to glue the front and rear of the glasses together. Step 1: Print the Front and rear of the Glasses there are little alignment tabs to ensure they stay aligned. Step 2: Remove the Arms from the glasses you can attach these to the back of the glasses once they are glued to the front. Step 3: Remove the Lens from the glasses. There is a seam starting from the arm holes, take a knife or pliers into it and separate the front and back of the 3D Movie glasses. Once a gap has been created you can just rip the back off of the glasses and the lenses will just be sitting there. Keep in mind the glasses orientation and what side they are on, 3D glasses only work 1 way. Step 4: (2D Glasses only skip this step if you are making 3D Glasses) If you want 2D Movie glasses you will need to repeat Step 3 with the 2nd pair of Glasses. Once you have the lenses Keep track of which side is which and only use one side. i.e. use Left Left on your glasses or Right Right. Again keep in mind the glasses orientation and what side they are on, 3D glasses only work 1 way. Step 5: Carefully place the lenses of your choice onto the front frame and orient them so they can cover as much of the lens as possible. Pin them down with Glue or something since they can move with a small breeze. After they are fixed in place Glue the Back side onto it and wait for the glue to dry. Step 6: Attach the Arms once everything has dried. Step 7: Watch a movie in you new Glasses. Print Settings Printer: Hictop i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: 20%+ Post-Printing Once Printed You will need to glue to two halves together for it to work, and you need a pair of 3D Movie Glasses to steal the arms from.
