3D Geometric Art for Printer Enclosure
thingiverse
Hello, I wanted to add some flair to my printer enclosure since it looked so bland and I had leftover filament on hand. In total, 16 different colors were used. I planned a size of 70x70 cm in total and created simple 35x35 mm tiles with an angle. I found one or two similar designs on Thingiverse, but they were all in large plates that would require printing one color at a time, priming, and then coloring. So, I made a single tile and varied the height slightly. Then, I copied the design as many times as desired and printed it in any chosen color. Create chaos patterns, 8-bit pictures, logos, names, and more. When combined with RGB LED strips, you get nice color effects. The tiles also work somewhat like an anti-noise mat, making it quieter now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I9zMy1xyUg
