The native file format is .skp, while a 3ds Max scene is available in 3ds Max 2016, rendered with Vray 3.00. This virtual tree fruit consists of 157,200 polygons and the textures are stored within the .skp file. To extract these textures, you can use various software options. For instance, SketchUp (free) allows exporting images as a 2D file under File/Export/2D Graphic - drop-down option. Alternatively, you can export the model as a COLLADA file (*.dae) in SketchUp, ensuring "Export Texture Maps" is checked in the Options menu. The textures will be housed in a folder with the exported file name within the export location. Cinema 4D (a trial version suffices) can import .skp files automatically, generating a folder with the textures beside the model file. In 3ds Max, imported .skp files store texture files in ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages. You can also opt for exporting an FBX file with embedded media selected for automatic texture generation. Rhinoceros 3D (a trial version is sufficient) permits importing .skp files and accessing textures through the Material Editor, located in Panels->Material editor.
