To hold your filament reel suspended from a shelf, print out a sturdy support bracket.\n\nInstructions\nGet a metal spindle to work with by sourcing one and printing it in an interference fit - you can reuse an old bathtub leg if you like! The STL file is made for 19mm spindles, or download the OpenSCAD script and adjust with just a few simple changes. For 200mm diameter reels, this support works great.\nPrint out strong parts by using thick infill - at least 20% infill will give it good support. Rectilinear or hexagonal patterns are your best bet for strength.
