3D filament holder for M3D printer (multiple spools) revised
thingiverse
My exclusive spool holder is designed for the M3D printer, currently on Kickstarter. It can hold three spools! Check out the campaign here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/m3d/the-micro-the-first-truly-consumer-3d-printer#project_faq_86355. As I eagerly await my printer's arrival in December, I created this tribute to the design using a 3D Touch machine at work. It required approximately 400 grams of PLA and was modeled after images from the M3D website (http://themicro3d.com/). As an architectural illustrator, I used ArchiCAD, which offers STL output capabilities, to create this holder. I hope you enjoy printing it as much as I enjoyed making it. If you have suggestions for future designs, please share! My test piece even found a happy home with a work colleague who I convinced to get the M3D printer.
