3D Filament clip 1.75
thingiverse
When I printed the original the hole was too small and too hard to get the filament in. When I tried opening it up with a drill bit it was too big and smooth and the filament would slide out. To eliminate both problems I made the hole bigger but put a slight curve in it. The hole size insures there is enough room to stick the filament in while the curve insures there is always enough friction to keep it from easily sliding out on it's own. It takes a little force to get the filament in but it's because the filament needs to bend just a bit rather than because the hole's precise size is critical.
