3D Fidget Spinner Pendant
myminifactory
I designed this object using Tinkercad, accessible at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/fHO32l8XOwx. I chose one of the design resources for the Design Challenge - Fidget Spinners and customized it to have a central spinning element without bearings, featuring a slightly rounded curve to facilitate grip without visual inspection. Additionally, I added an outer stationary ring and two loops for attaching a necklace chain. By making it wearable, perhaps kids will be allowed to possess it even in areas where "toys, including spinners" are prohibited. My school-aged children enthusiastically argue over who gets to keep this one, as they greatly appreciate its design and compare it favorably to the Time Turner necklace that I only occasionally permit them to handle. The printed object is photographed in glow-in-the-dark PLA material.
