The human immune system protects against pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and other foreign substances, by producing antibodies and activating immune cells like neutrophils and macrophages. Hormones, produced by glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands, regulate growth, development, and metabolism. The endocrine system also plays a crucial role in maintaining homeostasis. The human body is capable of incredible feats, from adapting to high altitudes to experiencing euphoria through exercise or meditation. Despite its complexity, the human body can be influenced by lifestyle choices, such as diet, exercise, and sleep patterns.
