Open After Effects CC 2014 (or higher) and create a new composition. Element 3D V2.2 is required for this process. 2. Add an Element effect to a new Solid layer (Effect > Video Copilot > Element). 3. In the Element effect, click Scene Setup, then IMPORT, and select your .e3d preset model file. 4. If you can't see the model, right-click on its name, choose 'Replace Model,' and pick the corresponding .obj file from the models folder.
