3D connect four / four in a row
prusaprinters
A 3-dimensional version of four in a row. Danger: very addicting! Rules: you play inside a 5x5x5 cube, so the maximum height is 5 pieces. Two players take turns, you win by having 4 pieces of your color in a row: diagonally, straight, all on top of each other etc. Variant: 4 player 2 vs. 2: players opposite of each other form a team and play the same color. No talking about strategies allowed! This is fun and challenging because you have to read your teammates mind and react to your opponents as well! Game 2: 4 in a row property mode! For this game you have to print the pieces labelled _properties. Each piece has 4 properties: color (black/white), height (tall/short), shape (round/square) and hole (yes/no). You play on a 4x4 grid (no stacking this time) and you can pick ANY piece that is not on the grid yet, color does not matter. You win if you place the 4th piece of the same property in a row. Example wins are in the pictures. Print instructionsPrint all objects top down for best results. No brim or support needed. 40 pieces per color are enough. Technically the game can hold 125, but we never ran out of them. The box has built in supports for the snap lock, so no need for supports on any print. Make sure you have thin wall detection activated. Just cut off the supports with a knife or flush cutters. Of course the box is a completely optional item. The playing field with the name inlay was a birthday present for a friend, sorry no gcode available.
