3D Connect Four boardgame / 3D Vier Gewinnt Brettspiel
thingiverse
The game of Connect Four has inspired me to take it to new heights, and I've created a 3D version that's sure to challenge even the most seasoned players. You can start with a classic game of TicTacToe on a 3x3 grid and then switch to the larger 4x4 or 5x5 boards for an added level of complexity. The goal is simple: be the first player to get four of your game pieces in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The rules are the same as the classic version, with two players taking turns placing one piece at a time on the board. For the 5x5 board, things get even more strategic, requiring players to think several moves ahead and make tough decisions about where to place their pieces. It's not for the faint of heart! To print this game, you'll need: * For the 4x4 board: one 3D_connect-four_board_4x4 (105x105mm), two 3D_connect-four_cube, and two 3D_connect-four_cylinder. * For the 5x5 board: one 3D_connect-four_board_5x5 (118x118mm), four 3D_connect-four_cube, and four 3D_connect-four_cylinder. * And for TicTacToe, you'll need a board from Thingiverse, along with one 3D_connect-four_cube and one 3D_connect-four_cylinder. Some examples of winning combinations include: * Placing four pieces in a row vertically * Getting four pieces in a row horizontally * Creating a diagonal line with four pieces (in 2D or 3D) * And on the 4x4 board, even getting four pieces in a row in height!
