During the process of making a storage box for the Cities and Knights expansion, I discovered that the city-improvement cards from the original game wouldn't fit inside. As a result, I created my own 3D city-improvement pieces. There are three hex-tiles you need to print - with the option to add magnets - for each player: politics, science, and trading. Additionally, you'll require five improvement-buildings per hex. Print the hex and its buildings in the same color so you can easily separate them during gameplay. POLITICS (blue): town hall, church, fortress, cathedral, council of Catan TRADING (yellow): market, craft, guild, bank, commercial center SCIENCE (green): abbey, library, aqueduct, theater, university I hope you also prefer this 3D variation.
