3D Christmas Tree
thingiverse
A 3D printed Christmas 2016 from RS Components - Southampton! https://www.rs-online.com/designspark/a-3d-printed-christmas-from-rs-southampton Because of its massive print size, exceeding 30cm in height, the model was carefully split into two halves to fit within the MakerBot Z18's build space and ensure a stable support structure. Modifications and STL generation were expertly carried out inside DesignSpark Mechanical. However, the ideal tool to use for finishing is a Dremel or micro power tool, which allows for precise access to tight spaces that cannot be reached using basic hand tools. How I Designed This: This 3D model of the Christmas tree is a remix of the original design by '21chies' at 123D projects (http://www.projects.123dapp.com/123D_Design/Christmas-Tree/4855811), showcasing my creative skills in adapting and refining existing designs.
