This adapter allows the switch to be mounted in place of the stock extruder motor, with the new motors mounted to the top left/right of the frame using existing mounting screw locations.</p> <p>The stock extruder motor plugs directly into the switch, which is triggered at the maximum value of the X axis. On some machines, it was necessary to turn off software endstops (M211 S0) to allow the X axis to "collide" with the right side rail to trigger the switch.</p> <p>Using the stock "3D Chameleon for the Ender 3" configuration for Cura should work without issues.</p> <p>Is possible, print with PETG, 30% infill at .3mm layer height. ABS will work as well.
