I believe 3-D models can revolutionize a customer's flat online experience and transform it into an immersive, three-dimensional journey that far surpasses the capabilities of any online platform. When we created the 3-D scan of Cara in class, I realized the immense potential of this technology for online shopping. My assignment, a 3-D model of a toy car, further solidified my understanding of the future of e-commerce. Imagine trying on clothing with precision fit and style - 3-D models can finally address the age-old issues of sizing and aesthetics. This technology also has vast implications for car shopping, enabling customers to plan their in-store retail experience like never before, making more informed purchases, and thereby increasing buyer conversion rates. In reality, this innovation could transform far more than just the online retail sector.
