3D CAD MACRO KEYPAD custom keyboard
thingiverse
This is a custom keypad programmable in Arduino. A joystick can be used as a scroll wheel or arrow keys. All the keys can be easily programmed in Arduino files. Used keycaps were found on Thingiverse and modified. Unfortunately, I don't remember the maker's name. In the step file, you can find a bill of materials (BOM). I used small diodes, an Arduino Leonardo (the small one), a small screen, very cheap Cherry MX switches (available from Bangood), an Arduino joystick (very cheap on Amazon), M3 screws and nuts. I will upload step files for the 3D assembly. I'll also add some photos. Later, in further edits, I'll add more details. Note: In one of the photos showing wiring, diodes are soldered incorrectly! That was my error. Enjoy! Arduino code is available here: https://github.com/mrkrafen/Custom-keypad.git I'd like to thank my friend P. for helping with the code.
