3D Birthday Card

Why buy a birthday card when you can create one? Design your own based on my original foldable cube design which uses a single thin layer as a hinge. Check out http://designmaketeach.com/2013/07/26/foldable-rectangular-prism-visual-tinkercad-tutorial/ for design tips on this construction method. I added an inside inscription to personalize the card design, and placed the recipient's age in a visible spot through the heart-shaped cutout when folded closed. Secure the card with a ribbon or invent an 'envelope' to hold it. This custom birthday card was designed with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2IogSsJWbWc The text was colored with Sharpie, but you could have swapped filament mid-print for a two-toned effect, creating an even more awesome card.
