.38 Special 5-Round Pocket Case
myminifactory
One of my buddies asked me to design a case for .38 Special rounds that he could carry in his pocket while hunting, so I came up with this solution. This project consists of 5 separate parts that you'll need to assemble. You may need to do some light sanding to get the dovetail joints perfectly aligned, but it shouldn't require much effort at all. I used super glue to secure the parts together, but surprisingly, everything worked flawlessly without it if I didn't sand the joints first. The clip might need a bit of gentle bending to get the case to close properly. I managed to print one that functioned perfectly right out of the printer, but the other one required some careful prying to get it back into shape. I suspect this was due to a minor cooling issue with the printer that caused a tiny bit of warping. All objects should be oriented correctly in your 3D modeling software for printing to turn out smoothly.
