36V - 44V Modular 21700 Scooter - eBike Battery Pack Holder
thingiverse
This is an ongoing project to replace the standard battery in my Gotrax GXL scooter with a modular one that will allow me to take the scooter on international flights. I am planning to swap out the existing 18650 - 10S2P battery pack for a custom 21700 x 10S1P pack. This upgrade involves some design changes and material selection, which I'll outline below. Since I don't own a printer yet, I haven't printed this design, so I'm not sure how well it will work in practice. However, I've listed the materials that I plan to use for this project: * Keystone 5209: This is a critical component that needs to be secured properly. * Steel Belleville Spring Lock Washer: This washer provides additional support and stability to the assembly. * Steel Hex Nut: A standard nut that will help secure the components in place. * Stainless Steel Threaded Rod: This rod will provide structural integrity to the design. I'm planning to use a dual-head printer setup, which will enable me to use soluble support material. This will make it easier to print complex designs like this one. To get an idea of how the assembly comes together, I've included a view of the assembly file below.
