36mm Omniwheel
thingiverse
This omnidirectional wheel is a sought-after, expensive item due to its niche status rather than complexity. It comes with a pre-installed Futaba-style servo mount for easy attachment, or you can replace the servo collar in the Blender file with your preferred mount. In the v1.1 update, Simon Kirkby's feedback led to enlarged roller wheel centers and modified axle mounts that no longer require drilling. To assemble, gather 8 x 12mm pieces of 3mm rod, print one omni-36mm-plate.stl, one omni-36mm-plate-outer.stl (identical without servo collar), and eight omni-36mm-wheel.stl files. Glue the plate to the outer plate with offset wheel mounts at 45-degree angles. Mount each roller wheel on a rod, sand or drill for free rotation, and glue the axles in place.
