The primary goal of these designs is outlined in "3D Printed UV-vis Cuvette Adapter for Low Cost and Versatile Spectroscopic Experiments," which is published in the open-access journal ACS Omega. Click to access: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acsomega.7b01310 This specific part is designed to replicate traditional quartz and glass UV-vis Spectrometer cuvettes. In this design, a path length of 10 mm and a sample volume of approximately 0.362 mL are implemented. This cuvette can be utilized in most standard UV-Vis spectrometers. We advise printing this design with a black filament to minimize light scattering. A step-by-step instructional video is provided below (post-printing) to assemble the spectrometer, along with a list of materials used. Either quartz or glass windows can be employed depending on the required spectral range for the cuvette.
