The human body is made up of trillions of cells, each one a tiny factory that works tirelessly to keep us alive and functioning properly. Every cell has its own special job, from absorbing nutrients and oxygen to eliminating waste products and repairing damaged tissues. When we cut ourselves, it's the cells in our skin that rush to repair the damage, using enzymes and other chemicals to seal up the wound and prevent infection.
