I designed a custom GoPro rig compatible with Hero 3, Hero 3+, and Hero 4 cameras. I used Google Sketchup for its design. You can download my SKP files upon request. This system allows for USB external power supply, addressing the issue of limited battery life when Wi-Fi is enabled for remote camera triggering. Instructions are as follows: * Each individual camera mount utilizes a M3 nut and bolt, hand-tightened in my setup. * A standard 1/4" nut secures the camera stick to the tripod. * Soldering irons can be used to fasten all nuts into place. * After mounting the six GoPro cameras, you can trigger them simultaneously using a Wi-Fi remote control. * It's recommended that all cameras be connected to an external power supply due to increased battery drain when Wi-Fi is enabled.
