360 Speaker

I designed a Speaker that offers an alternative to 360-degree Speakers such as Amazon Echo Plus. This design features a Dayton Audio 100-4 full-range speaker, with a custom housing and port. The port is relatively long, so I implemented a "snake port" design, which also increases the housing's stiffness. As a passive speaker, it doesn't require a battery or Bluetooth connectivity. I use it on an old Denon Stereo Amplifier, but it should work on most amplifiers. To get the best sound, you'll need to turn up the bass and highs on the amplifier to their maximum levels. Compared to Amazon Echo Plus, this Speaker offers more bass, finer midrange tones, and a more appealing design. However, due to its relatively small size, it's not suitable for hosting large parties. I plan to experiment with a filter to further optimize the sound, but it works well without one. I also experimented with a pointed top design, but ultimately decided against it, as it gave the Speaker an unappealing "rocket look." If anyone is interested, I can provide instructions on how to attach a pointed top extension.
