First off, let me ask that if you find these designs useful, please like, follow, and share my content. If you have any ideas or concepts to modify the content, I'd love to hear them! I've started this motorized 360 panorama camera gimbal in Fusion 360, and I wanted to upload my progress with it to Thingiverse as I work towards finishing it off. This is a project that I've been planning to do for a while now, and I'm excited to finish the concept and share it with others. If you want all of the STL files, please ask or open the Fusion 360 design file and find them all within there. At this point in time, I'm designing it based off my only DSLR body, which is a Canon 7d MKII. I'll attempt to make it somewhat universal for all other similar-sized cameras. So far, it's merely a mock up of Version 1.0. The head will be powered by NEMA-style stepper motors driven with GT2-type belts. The control will be via an Arduino and motor driver shield. All will be given under open-source licensing schemes. The design will incorporate a user-programmable interface and wireless control. As this is very much in its infancy, please do share any thoughts or ideas. I'd love to hear them!
