360 Degree Sonar Testing Mount for HC-SR04
thingiverse
This device was built using Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/hzHeK1jUVzB I made this to test an HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor with a full 360 degree range of motion. My goal is to create a device that can guess which room in my house it's in by creating a 360 degree 2d profile and comparing it to room profiles I've saved. I'm using the following materials: - 3/32" x 1 3/16" steel rod - HC-SR04 - Mini Servo, which is from Radio Shack - note that I avoided SG90 servo because of its larger size compared to this one I would like to thank Will Hughes for his work on the Gear Generator in Tinkercad. It's a valuable resource. My printing settings are as follows: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: No need to bother with rafts Supports: I'll use them to ensure everything prints solid Resolution: 0.2 Note: I've got to be aware that the gear cover and servo mount may need some supports during printing.
