360 degree ER32 Indexer (1 degree Increments)
grabcad
Featuring shielded ball bearings, this indexer is fully fabricated (no welding required). Indexing disc (36 holes) is located at the rear, facilitating absolute access to the working end. The indexing disc is bolted to a clamp ring, so alternative discs with different number of holes could be attached for different indexing needs. Design features an ER32 collet taper with M40 x 1.5 thread, so the full range of ER32 collets can be used. I have included design for a 125mm 3 jaw chuck backplate that can be screwed on to the M40 x 1.5 thread. A 125mm front mount 3 jaw chuck can be used to hold larger diameter work pieces. Bore diameter is 26mm. The index disc and 11֯ angular positioning part (especially the engraved text and graticules) are best machined with a CNC mill or laser. Drawings included.
