The goal of this project was to create a payload bridge for the DJI Phantom 4, which now also includes the Phantom 4 Pro model, capable of carrying devices such as lights, cameras, or 360-degree cameras (which I designed it for). Download the suitable STL file - The DJI_Phantom_4_Payload_Bridge.stl is only for the Phantom 4, while the Payloadbridge_Phantom_4_Pro.stl is specifically designed for the Phantom 4 Pro. To avoid the yellow effect when mounting cameras, a damper is required between the camera mount and the payload bridge. Additionally, I recommend securing the camera mount to the bride with two cable binders through the central hole. Besides the printed part, you will need to purchase 1/4-inch screws and dampers. As my initial mounting plate was not long enough (resulting in too much drone in the video, see attached video), I extended the drone mount in the attached STL file. Avoid windy conditions when flying with a payload, and also avoid fast movements. Plan for longer descent times, and always fly carefully. Overloading your Phantom can lead to overheating the engines and fast battery drain. Using these designs, the pilot carries full responsibility for any potential damages.
