36 POUNDER BRONZE NAVAL BOMBARDMENT CANNON This impressive model is a Navy 36 Pounder Bronze Naval Cannon, expertly crafted with precision. Installed on the lower deck of larger warships, the 36-pounder long gun was the largest caliber used in the Navy during the Age of Sail. A 36-pounder required a crew of fourteen skilled professionals: one chief gunner, twelve gunners, and one powder-boy who worked tirelessly together to operate this massive artillery piece. Created using Blender 2.79/2.80 This model is available in three formats: .Blend / .Fbx / .Obj, along with all associated textures that bring the cannon to life. Textured in Substance Painter 2 The metal and roughness workflow used in Substance Painter 2 has resulted in a stunning, realistic appearance for this naval cannon. The two-kilopixel textures include PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) maps for base color, metallic, roughness, and normal maps, as well as an optional height map. Real-world scale and precision have been maintained throughout the model's construction, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Scale 1.000 and rotation 0.000 have been carefully set to replicate the cannon's authentic appearance. Unwrapped non-overlapping UVs ensure seamless texture mapping, while lighting and camera settings are optimized for Layer 2.
