Scan 35mm film with minimal equipment - no tripod required to capture perfect shots. The top and bottom parts of the holder snap together seamlessly using 3mm wide circular magnets, available on Amazon at an affordable price. The "35mm tube" is designed to slide onto the holder, fitting perfectly into its cutout, while the Canon FD 50mm f3.5 macro lens with life-size extension tube fits snugly on top. Simply adjust the height of the tube to achieve your desired focusing distance. For optimal results, illuminate from below using a soft and even light source. A small aperture (large number) will increase sharpness, while using a remote app or setting a 5-second delay will prevent camera shake when the shutter fires. To switch frames, open the holder, slide the film over, and then close it back down. Position the film under the tube for the next shot. A true macro lens is essential for achieving the best possible results.
