I rummaged through old films at home, pulled out one, and it started to break in my hands. I decided I had a single shot to digitize the negatives, so I had to fake a simple backlight. The makeshift lamp used a cheap LED light with frosted glass. You can re-shoot using your phone's camera, even if you're shooting in macro mode on a regular camera.
