Here are 35 & 45 Liter Mountaineering Backpacks: Pictures and PDF pattern show the 35L bag. CAD files (dxf, iges) show the 45L bag. Human: 35 & 45 Liters MOUNTAINEERING BACKPACKS The 35-liter backpack is made of durable nylon 400D that resists ski scratches. The back panel is a rugged nylon 1000D that grips clothing well. The pack includes a front pocket for storing snow shovel, probe, seal or crampons. Ultimately, we get a solid bag with a reasonable weight of 675g (including 85g for the 8mm thick foam back support). Designing the Project: Firstly, some basic sketches are made to materialize ideas. Then proportions are created using the "VOLUMIC DESIGN" method (exclusive technique of the artisan). Next, the 3D model is transferred to CAD and the flat pattern is calculated. Finally, sewing brings the bag to life! And that's how more backpacks can be designed in France. Patronages to Download: Here are the PDF links for the 35-liter bag: * Front-Front Panel * Back-Side Panel * Back-Lining * Strap-Shoulder Strap * Waist-Belt Assembly Instructions: Below is a quick tutorial on assembly order: 1) Assemble the front pocket on the front panel of the volume. 2) Assemble the sides with the bottom piece, then add ski ports. 3) Assemble the two previous pieces starting with vertical seams and ending with the bottom seam (which ends in pinches at both ends) 4) Assemble the back with the lining armature pocket and attach straps and waist belt 5) Complete the back with the top panel above the back and two side panels on the bottom 6) Finally, assemble the final piece: the entire fabric envelope with the entire back piece, starting from the middle of the bottom of the back (make 2 symmetrical seams) To finish, turn the bag like a sock and insert the armature into its pocket.
