My freshly purchased gimbal didn't quite manage to clear the ground, not even when utilizing its lengthy landing legs (I'm not thinking of parting ways with $200 for a gimbal that omits pitch control, though). In response to this problem, I crafted an elementary elevator skid incorporating through holes specifically designed for securing it to the landing gear using zip ties. This improvised fix contributes roughly ½" of added height to the existing landing gear setup and should resolve any clearance issues at hand.
