350mm QUAD
thingiverse
I modified the quad to work with any motor featuring a 16mm or 19mm mount. The prop can be up to nine inches in length, providing more lift for this aerial vehicle. The top plate offers ample space to house your chosen flight controller. It is compatible with Pixhawk, APM, and similar systems. For powering the motor, small ESCs fit neatly within the frame's arms. To drive them efficiently, I installed RC Timer 40AMP thin units. I opted for a layer height of 0.2mm and 35% infill to maintain structural integrity during printing. While PLA works well as a material choice, you can also use ABS if it adheres correctly to the print bed. Be cautious; the main body's size can cause warping when printed with ABS due to its lower melting point compared to PLA. A standard 3DR GPS will fit in the designated cutout of the top plate for convenient integration. In my recent revision, I included an updated top plate designed specifically to accommodate non-3dr GPS modules and provide additional room within the frame.
