I'm Making a YouTube Video is Coming... I've always wanted to create an electric longboard, but I couldn't find a sleek design that could fit a big battery with plenty of range. So, I designed my own, which consists of four boxes. Three of them house the batteries and BMS, while the remaining one accommodates the VESC(s), receiver, anti-spark switch, and other electronics you might want to add. Here are the parts I used: * Longboard * 50pcs Liitokala HG2 Batteries * 60Amp 10s BMS * XT90's for making an Anti-Spark switch * Vesc from Hobbyking * Turnigy 6374 192kv 100a Sensored Brushless motor From hobbyking * Mounting hardware from Hobbyking * A Transmitter and receiver * This Design Things You Could Do Differently: * Use two motors and VESC's. If you make the Capacitor Circuit Board smaller, it could fit in this design. * Use different mounting hardware, like I did with the Turnigy trucks. I've had some problems with the motor mount connection to the trucks, but using bigger wheels might help too. * Use bigger wheels, like 80 or 90mm wheels. The original 70mm wheels work fine, but if you ride over rough terrain, bigger wheels are better. * Use a 12S5p Battery instead of a 10s5p battery. You could fit it in this design by moving the BMS to 'Box 1'. * Use different batteries from Aliexpress. They're cheap and have good specs – 20 constant discharge current, 20a x 5 parallel connections = 100a constant current rating, which is amazing! And they have a 3000 mah rating, which is fantastic. * Use a smart BMS instead of the 60A Constant Current 10 BMS. Smart BMS's are the best, but they're $100, and I couldn't afford it.
