A miniature engine masterpiece measures 48cm in length, precision-crafted to exact scale specifications. To bring this marvel into existence, metal sheets are carefully formed and bent before being secured together with screws and nuts - all except the body shell, which requires a special approach. Inspired by the real 348, the rear frame is meticulously recreated, utilizing the same mounting points for added authenticity. A bold twist sets the engine apart: it's mounted at a 90-degree angle. The differential remains to be fitted, awaiting its turn in this intricate assembly process. Meanwhile, the monocoque structure is still under construction, and concerns arise about the rear frame's stability as work continues on this ambitious project.
