33cc Homelite Ranger Chainsaw Filler UT-10926
thingiverse
I designed this filler to replace the backing for the bar tensioner on my saw, specifically the Homelite Ranger 33cc Saw with model number UT-10926. To get it to fit perfectly, you'll need to remove the middle supports that come pre-installed by the factory. This was a breeze to do with a Dremel, and the rest of the installation went smoothly, with the filler fitting nice and snug in place. Only time will tell how well it holds up over the long term. The grooves were left intentionally in case cleaning up the factory plastic proved too challenging - but they can be removed if needed later on. To print this design, orient the narrow grooves upwards and you won't need to worry about any supports getting in the way. What happened was that the plastic below the tensioner got damaged due to improper reassembly. Instead of replacing the entire case (which would have been expensive), I opted for a quick and easy fix with this filler. The print time came out to be around 20 minutes, which wasn't bad at all considering the end result.
