A hydraulic power supply must be designed with adequate pumping capacity, including pressure and flow rates to accommodate various electro-hydraulic actuators and systems as specified. A filtration system is required to maintain the cleanliness of the oil necessary for use in contamination-sensitive components such as hydrostatic bearings and servo valves. The pumping system should consist of one charging pump and three main hydraulic pumps, with two being fixed displacement axial piston pumps and the third a variable displacement axial piston pump. Initially, the variable displacement pump will be operated, and when increased flow is required, the other fixed displacement pump will be started. In addition to this, an electrostatic oil cleaner, cooling tower, dehydration unit, and degasification unit will also be included. The power pack will have a local control panel for operating and controlling various subsystems, including pumps, pressure variation through electrically modulated valves, and remote control from the main computer system. Oil Reservoir: Made of SS304, 2000 liters of hydraulic oil with sufficient free space above the oil level. Filtration System: * 10 micron (abs) filter: 2000 lpm * 3 micron (abs) filter Operating Fluid Temperature Range: -10°C to 100°C. Ball Valve with Limit Switch: 10 bars. Electric Motor for Cooling Line Pump: 3 phase AC, 415 V ± 10%, 50 Hz ± 5%, Nominal speed: 1400-1500 rpm. Anti-Vibration Pads. Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger: * Maximum oil temperature: 50°C * Ambient temperature: 30 to 35°C * Oil flow: 700 lpm * Heat removal capacity: 300 kW * Oil pressure: 10 bar Cooling Tower: Cooling rating of 95 tons, motor power of 3.7 kW. Variable Displacement Axial Piston Type Pump: * Maximum operating pressure: 250 bar * Design pressure: 315 bars * Flow capacity: 220 lpm is preferred. Fixed Displacement Axial Piston Type Pump: * Operating pressure: 250 bar * Design pressure: 315 bars * Flow capacity: 220 lpm is preferred, with a ±5% variation at the operating speed of 1440 rpm.
