A Solution for Penny-Based Miniatures to Sit Next to Gunners At the center of my photo is an original 1.25-inch Dia. punched polystyrene card containing a Battlefront Miniatures Soviet AT-4 gunner and assistant. Flanking it are primed bases featuring Khurasan Miniatures Soviet Motorized Rifle PK gunners and assistants. To the rear, grey ABS prints are visible. The size of the gunner determines whether the assistant can fit nicely in the depression created for them until the gunnery team takes casualties. Then, the assistant bites it first while leaving the gunner intact, either glued to a base or using miniature magnets. This solution caters to my game rule requirements (mainly Ambush Alley "Force on Force" and Ground Zero Games "Stargrunt II" or "Dirtside II") and personal preferences for basing miniatures. Feel free to modify this solution and share it freely without commercial intent.
