I backed the Kickstarter for Cool Mini or Not's base system, designing my own base shapes using Micro Art Studio's software. The custom sculpted "plug" securely clicks into place within the lip of 30mm, 40mm, or 50mm rounded bases perfect for Warmachine-style miniatures but clash with Warhammer 40k's overall design language. These custom bases measure the same as Games Workshop's standard bevelled edge 32mm and 40mm bases and feature a slight depression to accommodate the intricately designed Micro Art Studios plug.
