These are custom-made magnet cases that I created for my kids' iron oxide suspension display's magnets. The N52 Neodymium magnets I bought are extremely strong, which is why I was initially worried about pinched fingers. When two magnets attracted and slammed into each other, they were prone to shattering. These PLA cases both increased the minimum magnet-to-magnet separation distance and protected the fragile magnets from collision shattering events. I'm able to use the magnets with synthetic black iron oxide powder in a water suspension (with a few drops of bleach to kill bacteria), contained in a smooth-sided tea bottle (Ball jars also work well). My six-year-old kids love them! These work like clamshells. Just print two per magnet, and superglue them together with clamps! Everything was purchased from Amazon.
