Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, commonly known as King Faisal, was a prominent Saudi Arabian leader who served as the third King of Saudi Arabia from 1964 until his assassination in 1975. Born on April 14, 1905, in Riyadh, he was a member of the House of Saud and played a crucial role in shaping the country's history. Faisal rose to prominence during World War II when he served as the governor of the Eastern Province. He was appointed by his half-brother King Abdulaziz Al Saud, who later became known as Ibn Saud. In 1953, Faisal was appointed as the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia by King Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who had succeeded their father, Ibn Saud.
