I required a specialized nozzle for the robot-controlled application of gaskets, and it's astonishing how limited the information is on these 310ml glue tubes. After scouring various sources, I came across a few nozzles on thingiverse, but none of them matched up perfectly due to thread pitch issues. The threads in question boasted a 3mm pitch, allowing for smooth screwing into place. Undeterred by initial setbacks, I spent several hours experimenting with modeling and test printing until I finally landed on a viable thread design that worked seamlessly with the tubes we have in Norway. It's puzzling to think that this standard shouldn't be more widely adopted. For those interested, I've uploaded STL files for a short nozzle featuring a 3mm opening – perfect for my robot project – as well as an endcap version designed to prevent curing overnight. To further empower users, I've also made available an open-threaded part in various 3D formats, enabling individuals to create their own custom tips tailored to specific needs.
