30W Mono Speaker with passive Bass radiator
thingiverse
I built a speaker as a project for my parents. It fills the need for a speaker at our cottage. The speaker is printed with white FF3D ABS using a 230C Hotend and a 110C Bed. Wood screws and epoxy were used to assemble it. I bought all the components in Mao's dollar store. Components: I purchased a 30W Class D Amp for $15 from https://goo.gl/hclkIe. Two slave bass units cost me $10 each, available at https://goo.gl/8jNMXG. Some epoxy and mains cable were already on hand. A normal AC-DC converter/transformer was also purchased. Print Settings: My printer is the FF3D Dreamer. Rafts aren't necessary for this print. The supports are built into the design. The resolution of my prints is 0.3 mm. I infill my designs at a density of 5-10 percent. Designing This Speaker I designed the speaker in Autodesk 123d Design. It was created to fit an amplifier, a full-range hi-fi driver and a slave bass.
