I required a protective grille for the exposed opening above the fan in my transparent acrylic Raspberry Pi case. The ideal solution was a sturdy, 2mm-thick cover that could be easily installed using my existing fan screws. This part proved to be an excellent choice, as it not only provided adequate protection but also drew the screw heads further away from the RPi board, creating a safer and more organized setup by keeping metallic fasteners at a comfortable distance.
