Like many ambitious DIY enthusiasts building their Sintron Prusa I3, I had to modify the MK8 extruder mount to securely hold the stepper in place myself. I questioned whether the central hole of the mount was designed for a specific purpose, but after searching, nothing turned up. This practical fan shroud clips neatly into the center hole on the MK8 extruder motor mount and comes off easily when required.
